Hey y’all, I’m Starr — the stylist/loctician behind Starr’s Hair Loft! I specialize in boho locs, hair extensions, and show-stopping redheads — basically, I love hair that has personality. Whether we’re creating perfectly imperfect boho locs, adding the length and fullness you’ve always wanted, or creating a rich, head-turning red, my favorite part is designing something that feels completely you. For me, being behind the chair has never been just about hair. I want my space to feel comfortable, laid-back, and judgment-free — somewhere you can relax, be yourself, laugh way too much, and leave feeling even more confident than when you walked in. I love building real relationships with my clients and being there through all the different seasons of their lives. When I’m not behind the chair, my favorite role is being a mom to my 3 year old daughter. I’m happiest somewhere outdoors — especially near the mountains — with coffee in my hand, good music playing, and the people I love nearby. I’m creative by nature, a little unconventional, and I’ve always believed the best things have a little character to them. After 22 years in this industry, I still genuinely love what I do. I’m always learning, evolving, and finding new ways to create hair that doesn’t just look beautiful, but feels like it belongs to the person wearing it. Cancellation Policy
You will be charged a 50% cancellation fee (for total number of hours booked, as I charge by the hour) for any no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
